This is a nice little writing activity linked to class jobs. The first page gives a worked example of a jobs boards including jobs and names. Page 2 is a template where children can fill in the class jobs in one column and names of children in the other. They can then match up jobs with children and fill in the class jobs board. Children could work together to create a working jobs board to enlarge and display in the classroom.

5 animals have got mixed up. Some have got spots or stripes that they should not have and others have strange colours. Can children identify what animals they should be and the patterns they usually have? Children can colour the new mixed up animals and give them names.
